The high point of the January 18th meeting of the Chardon Toastmasters was the induction of another new member. Mentor resident Keith Ransom joined this international organization in his quest for personal and professional growth. “It’s always satisfying to watch a new member develop and improve their skills.” said Dr. Jonathan Cooney, VP Education.
President Matt Everett remarked “Kevin picked an exciting time to join Toastmasters, just before our Spring Speech Contest.” Chardon Toastmasters are hosting their annual International Speech and Evaluation contests Thursday, February 8th . The winners of these contests advance to competitions at the Area, Division and District levels with the ultimate winner of the International Speech contest competing at the International Convention in Chicago Illinois this August. The public is invited to attend this contest and enjoy an evening of interesting speeches, free refreshments and fellowship.
