Cold Nose Companions Dog Training is bringing Malena DeMartini to Chardon to share her highly successful protocol for resolving separation anxiety in dogs.

Malena DeMartini, a Jean Donaldson Academy graduate, is author of the book Treating Separation Anxiety in Dogs, and has over 15 years of experience and several hundred successful separation anxiety cases under her belt. At this seminar, both professionals and guardians will learn how to help resolve separation anxiety issues with confidence.

It is estimated that at least 17 percent of the dogs in the United States suffer from separation anxiety and newer figures indicate that this number is likely an underestimation. Separation anxiety is not easy to resolve, but it is simple in many ways and help is at hand for trainers and guardians.

This seminar will cover:

  • The key components of successful separation anxiety case resolution
  • How to incorporate simple new technologies to make the work quicker and more accurate
  • How to set up training plans and create the proper environment in which the guardian and his or her dog can work constructively
  • What clients can expect and how to work closely with professionals to successfully resolve the issue

This seminar will be held April 23 and 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Cost is $200 per person. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for professionals. For more information, call 855.286.DOGS (3647) or click here.
