Bring your own kayak to enjoy autumn scenery

Diminishing daylight hours trigger a wide array of fall foliage color on East Branch Reservoir to enjoy from the comfort of your own kayak: golden maples contrasting against the evergreen of pine and spruce. Add the azure blue October sky, and you have a rich palette of Nature’s splendor to revel in on this leisurely float, which may have us in the company of migratory waterfowl to boot.

What: Fall Color Kayak

When: Saturday, October 12 – 1 to 3 p.m.

Where: Headwaters Park, Boathouse
13365 Old State Road (Route 608), Huntsburg

Basic kayaking proficiency is expected of participants, so no lessons will be provided, and you must bring your own kayak to float. Ages 12 and up, please. Registration is required between October 5 and 11 online or 440-286-9516.
