Remember back in the day when you were in 6th grade in one of the Burton elementary schools? Remember how exciting it was as you prepared to go on that memorable trip – that trip to Camp Hiram House in spring where you got to spend several fun-filled days with all your friends? For many of you, that was a highlight of the year!
Sixth grade camp has become a tradition where the students get to participate in a curriculum-based outdoor experience, enjoy educational activities, do some light chores, and have fun of course!
Believe it or not, it’s that time of year again. This year’s trip is scheduled for May 13 -16 and several parents and teachers have organized a fundraiser to help lower the cost for students attending. 100 percent of proceeds will go toward students attending. Please mark your calendars and stop by. With over 20 vendors and plenty of baked goods, you’re sure to find a few unique and tasty items you’ll enjoy. Plus, you’ll be giving yet another group of 6th graders the chance to create their own lasting memories at Camp Hiram House!
