Not afraid to take chances. That must be the unofficial motto of new production company, Curtain 440.

Established in February 2019, on the heels of several youth productions and a successful pair of summer camps complete with performances, Curtain 440 is presenting its first big musical production, Sondheim’s Into the Woods. The teen and young adult cast contains members of many area schools and colleges, as well as those who have graduated from the same. August 2-3 and 9-11, Into the Woods will be performed on Andrews Osborne Academy’s beautiful stage.

The cast is discovering many things in their journey Into the Woods. Logan Katoch, age 18, plays Little Red, in this telling or fairy tales gone awry.” Audiences will love our take on this famous Sondheim production from the bold character choices and amazing choreography.”

“Jack has been my dream role ever since I first started doing theatre and being in this show, I am able to see this character in an entirely different way and see aspects of him that I never knew where there!”, says Emilio Ruiz.

Ashley Cunnigham, 23, “I absolutely love being in this show! I am so excited for my first lead role. The cast of this show is humble and so incredibly talented! Into the Woods is not an easy show, it’s full of emotion (also crazy music and lyrics) and everyone rises to the challenge! “
