Not afraid to take chances. That must be the unofficial motto of new production company, Curtain 440.
Established in February 2019, on the heels of several youth productions and a successful pair of summer camps complete with performances, Curtain 440 is presenting its first big musical production, Sondheim’s Into the Woods. The teen and young adult cast contains members of many area schools and colleges, as well as those who have graduated from the same. August 2-3 and 9-11, Into the Woods will be performed on Andrews Osborne Academy’s beautiful stage.
The cast is discovering many things in their journey Into the Woods. Logan Katoch, age 18, plays Little Red, in this telling or fairy tales gone awry.” Audiences will love our take on this famous Sondheim production from the bold character choices and amazing choreography.”

Directed by Angela Miloro-Hansen, vocal direction by Trinidad Snider, conducting by Kim Gallagher, choreographed by Sarah Wyatt, the musicians include local professionals and talented students.
Performances are August 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th at 7:30 p.m. and August 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Andrews Osborne Academy, 38588 Mentor Ave in Willoughby. Tickets are available online or at the door, and are $15 for adults and seniors and $12 for students.
