Geauga County Department on Aging

The Geauga Department on Aging provides Adult Day Services to Geauga County Seniors who need a caring positive structured environment during the day due to memory loss, cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s Disease.  Adult Day services is a social, non-medical program whose target population are those who require supervision due to early stages  of memory loss or other cognitive impairment.

Round trip transportation is available five days a week.  Your loved one will arrive at the Chardon Senior Center around 9a.m. They are met by A.D.S. staff and escorted to our activity center.  After a full day of activities, and a hot lunch, they will be transported safely back home.

Our staff is trained in providing meaningful recreational activities for clients with early stages of dementia.  We help seniors maintain their independence and dignity.
