Do you know some Young Writers? Share these Writing Opportunities!

There are terrific programs for young writers in this area, so be sure to take advantage of them! Here’s a few that are coming up:

  • Lake Erie Ink – This writing space for kids and teens enables young people to find their own distinctive voices through workshops, studios and classes.
  • Stage Write Comedy Club, youth in grades 6-12 can explore the funny side of theater. February 4, 2019.
  • Twelve Literary Arts – An intergenerational teaching, learning and development incubator for poets, writers and performance artists in Cleveland. Their emphasis is on imagination, social justice, and equity.
  • Final Stage: Youth Poetry Slam, Cleveland Public Theatre, Sunday, February 3rd from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Free, but ticketed, reserve seats by clicking the link above.
  • John Carroll Young Writers Workshop – It’s the 9th year for this exciting workshop designed for students in grades 8-12. The weeklong summer camp enables students to work with acclaimed professors as the youth hone their creative writing skills in a pre-college environment. July 22 – 26, 2019.
