Don’t Miss Sirna’s Farm Fall Harvest Celebration!

What started as a customer appreciation event nearly a decade ago, has quickly escalated to one of Geauga County’s favorite event. The Sirna Family hosts a Fall Festival at their working farm for the first two weekends in October every year. This year, the Fall Festival will be held on October 1st and 2nd from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm and October 8th and 9th from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Rain or Shine! Each year the festival highlights their summer’s success, and their new fall harvest. Families, children, and adults all line up to get an educational hay ride around the Sirna’s Property. Before they leave, they have time to pick out their pumpkin – for carving, decorations for the porch and entertaining, and head home with a bounty of local products from their exclusively Ohio-made stocked store, coined “The Local Store”.

Craig Sirna, Owner, says, “Bring your kids, we’ll keep them busy and send them home tired!” And the Sirna’s never disappoint the crowd, with face painting, music, an animal farm, corn box, and just the general excitement of being and playing at a working farm. Craig says, “it’s a lot of work, but we love hosting this event. We go to a lot of farmers’ markets and this is our time to stay at home and invite all our customers, friends and supporters of the farm over. We get families of all ages and from all over Northeast Ohio.”

It’s a festive and educational time to teach our customers about our practices and our history, Sirna says. It’s evident the community minded family is proud to be in Geauga County, where they purchased their home and farm property in 1997 from a developer, intentionally in order to keep the property as it had been for the past century – Farmland.

Sirna’s Farm & Market is located at 19009 Ravenna Rd, Auburn Twp., OH 44023, Located on State Route 44 in Geauga County. For more information, call: 440-834- 0696 or go to sirnasfarm.com
