Elementary Principals Pied!

Positive behavior pays off for students at Jordak Elementary and Cardinal Intermediate schools. All year students could collect “Huskie Bucks” as a reward for modeling a behavior represented in our PRIDE rubric – Productive, Respectful, Involved, Determined, Empathetic.

Throughout the year students could cash in their Huskie Bucks for rewards such as special school supplies, lunch with the principal, and even a water balloon fight. The ultimate reward was being able to throw a pie in the principal’s face, and several students saved up enough Huskie Bucks throughout the year to do just that.

On Friday, May 27, Principals Kelly Bearer and Julie Fulton suited up and sat as several students threw whipped cream pies at them. We’re told one student saved enough Huskie Bucks to throw 18 pies! Thanks Ms. Bearer and Mrs. Fulton for being such good sports and being so “involved” in promoting positive behaviors!
