It’s autumn, and the time is ripe to update your home décor, and maybe get a head start on your holiday shopping. A new shop, Evergreen Essentials, will be holding a special October Open House to help you and your home embrace this new season.
On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17, Evergreen Essentials will be chock full of antiques, repurposed items, and glassware to choose from. They’ll also have toys, baskets, kitchen accessories and furniture to peruse. And, don’t forget to check out their essential oils and supplies for yourself, or as thoughtful and healthy gifts for family and friends.
If you’re looking for essential oils, supplies, and know-how, Evergreen Essentials is the place for that. Stop by to check out their variety of available oils and infusers, or to discuss your specific needs. Although no specific classes are planned for this weekend event, the shop regularly hosts free informational workshops where participants can learn more about using essential oils for health and beauty.
Recent workshop topics included beauty and essential oils, where participants learned how to combat wrinkles, blemishes, and sunburn; and emergency preparedness, to share the best oils to have on hand for in your medicine cabinet. Other topics have included athletes and essential oils, focusing on sore muscles and pain management, and when things go wrong in the body, which focuses on which essential oils are most effective when physical issues arise.
Essential oils are naturally occurring, aromatic compounds that are found in plants. They have been used for centuries for beauty treatments and health care purposes around the world. When diffused, they can be stimulating, calm, or soothing. Essential oils can also be used to cleanse and purify the air without harmful chemicals. They can also be used topically or internally, since most compounds are easily absorbed by the skin or used for culinary purposes. For more information on how you can incorporate essential oils into your healthy lifestyle, give them a call at 440-221-6793.
The shop is located at 17506 Madison Road in Middlefield. Make plans to stop by during their October open house to get a jump on your holiday shopping. But remember,Evergreen Essentials only accept cash and checks, so plan accordingly.
