Registration for classes in performing and visual arts at the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild (GLTG) is open for the fall session which runs through late December. GLTG offers a wide range of options for youth and adults interested in singing, acting, drawing and even “fairy gardening.” Classes range in length from a weekend to a full semester and are offered throughout weekdays as well as weekends.
The fall roster includes several drama classes for home school students; (Sherlock Holmes, Curse of the Werewolf, Raccoon Tales, King Arthur) as well as an Intergenerational Reader’s Theater. The popular Geauga Gems show choir group will split into two age groups to better showcase the abilities of each group as they host a Holiday Concert on December 15 at the Geauga Theater.
Other exciting new drama offerings include A Modern Christmas Carol, Annie, Kids Edition, Chinese Zodiac and a return of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. For those who prefer to express themselves through the visual arts, A Christmas Card Workshop and as well as two sessions of Drawing with Colored Pencils and Fairy Gardening are offered.
