Venture into rocky woodland ravines to discover stately trees, meandering streams, rock ledges, salamanders and the history of the land on Saturday, April 2, in Chesterland.

Your options for adventure are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at a Geauga Park District preserve near Lindsey Elementary School, 12:30 to 4 p.m. at Orchard Hills Park, or both, enjoying your packed lunch with fellow hikers in between.

Registration is required for both hikes online or by calling 440-286-9516. Hikers will explore rain or shine, and should be school aged or older and able to traverse some steep grades and possible off-trail obstacles like downed trees and stream crossings. Sturdy shoes with good traction that can get wet are recommended.

Call 440-286-9516 with questions.
