Fall Has Arrived at Patterson Fruit Farm

The changes are coming! Can you feel it in the air? Did you notice the slightest of change to the leaves on the trees? Most importantly, have you had a taste for those scrumptious fresh-off-the-tree apples that grow so well in Geauga County?

Are the kids telling you it is time to visit Patterson’s Family Fun Fest? Come after school, bring some friends, and enjoy an hour or two before it gets dark. Come back for a longer stay on the weekends when the whole family can play together!

Indeed autumn has arrived and with it the delightful changes it brings – cool mornings, brilliant sunny warm days, rain showers to freshen up the grass, glorious scenery to sooth the soul and pumpkin pies, apple fritters and succulent donuts to have with that freshest of the fresh apple cider!

It all comes together at Patterson Fruit Farm’s farm market and Family Fun Fest. The next 7 weeks is the height of the harvest of Honey Crisp, Jonathan, Empire, Golden Delicious and Melrose apples. Those are just a few of the varieties that get stored away for year-round enjoyment right here in Chesterland!

Pumpkins? Boy do we have pumpkins! Big ones, little ones, tall ones and squashy ones! What a delight it is to spend some time outdoors choosing just the right one for your doorstep.

Whether you make it a quick trip to the market to replenish your home supply of fruit and apple cider, or a lengthier stay at the Fun Fest with the kids, we hope to see you many times this fall.  And, make a note that the market is open year-round. Stop by often so we have a chance to get to know you better.  Accolades to our friendly and helpful staff who do their best to make you feel “at home” when you visit!

Then, come Thanksgiving, give us a quick call to reserve some pies for that big feast. Save yourself some shopping by ordering fresh and beautiful gift baskets and shippers for friends near and far over the holidays- delivered or shipped.

Did we mention a hot cup of cider with the latest donut creation of banana walnut and caramel apple? Fresh, still warm apple pie for dessert these chilly nights? Sliding down 11 slides at our fest? Romping in the straw and sitting at the top of the tree house watching the leaves tumble down? Running through the corn maze and teaming up for a go-cart ride? Not to be forgotten is the awesome one-of-a-kind view of Lake Erie atop the hill behind the farm market (while you enjoy a hamburger or ice cream treat from our snack bar, of course).

Finally, before it is too late, gather up your church group, reserve a shelter, and take a hayride for a fun-filled, memorable time!04 Indeed, memories are made at Patterson Fruit Farm!
