The Foundation for Geauga Parks is pleased to announce the slate of officers and new trustees voted onto the board at the December 11th board meeting.
- Adam Henry, Board President, is the General Counsel & Senior Portfolio Manager for Rosenthal Capital Management where he focuses on portfolio management and compliance for the firm’s three independent hedge funds. Adam has served on the Foundation Board since 2013. In his current role as President, he will guide all board committees. Born and raised in Geauga County, Adam enjoys exploring Geauga’s parks with his wife and two sons. “I am very excited to be a part of this great organization,” says Mr. Henry. “2020 promises to be an exciting year for the Foundation for Geauga Parks as we continue to develop new partnerships with organizations operating in Geauga County and move forward on projects that create significant opportunities for conservation, education and recreation in our communities.”
- Claudia Toth, Vice President, is the Office Specialist for United Way Services of Geauga County and also provides administrative assistance to the Geauga Hunger Task Force. She has served on the Foundation board since 2017, chairs the marketing committee and is highly active on the fundraising committee. As a volunteer with the Geauga Park District, you will often find her exploring the many trails throughout the county.
- Jonathan Green, Board Treasurer, is a CPA recently retired from Meaden & Moore where he specialized in entrepreneurial business challenges, and business transition and succession consulting. Jon has served multiple terms as trustee and was a past President for the Foundation. In 1996 he was a charter member of Leadership Geauga’s inaugural class.
- Carl Langer, Board Secretary, is an attorney who joined the board of trustees in 2018. He serves clients as a business advisor and strategist, and in his spare time can be found riding horse trails in and around Geauga County.
Other new trustees include Linda Brown, owner and founder of Partners in Organizational Success; Matthew Burnham, managing partner at Auxin Group Wealth Management; and Sheryl Vernon, CPA and on the adjunct accounting faculty at Notre Dame College in South Euclid. Other current trustees are Susan Lundstrom, Heidi O’Neill, Mary Beth O’Neill, and Jennifer Salo.
In addition to the new, the Foundation would like to thank three individuals who have made tremendous contributions to the board! Having completed their terms, they will take a time out from service: Jeff Hyde, former board president; Casey Forbes and Keith Corkwell.
