The Geauga Arts Network Group Features Acrylic Portrait Artist Carmela Diana Bringas

The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) will be featuring acrylic artist Carmela Diana Bringas at its February 20th program. Ms Bringas primarily creates portraits and animal studies. She began painting with oils, but later selected acrylics as her medium of choice. Her art has been featured at various local galleries, libraries, and community centers, including Lakeland Community College and Fairmount Center for the Arts. Much of her work is commissioned. A long-time resident of Geauga County, she originally hails from Miraflores, a beautiful, upscale district of Lima, Peru.

During the meeting she will display samples of her work and discuss her artistic technique and history. This informal, educational program will be held Tuesday, February 20th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Heinen’s Café, 402 Center St. in Chardon. It is free and open to the public.

The Geauga Arts Network Group is an ad hoc group whose mission is to promote communication, collaboration, and cooperation across artistic disciplines for artists living and/or working in Geauga County. For further information, contact Nicky Bucur at 216-240-1501.
