“Guardians of the Galaxy” and another family-friendly film, along with great pre-show entertainment at 7 p.m., will take place on Sunday, August 10, at the Mayfield Road Drive-In, 12091 Mayfield Road, Chardon, OH 44024. Gates open at 7 p.m. for the pre-show entertainment. Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”* begins at dark (approximately 8:50 p.m.). Another family-friendly film to be determined will follow immediately.
Mayfield Road Drive-In is offering special discount pricing of $15 per carload of people with an additional $5 for carry-in food. Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
Prior to the feature films, Geauga County Public Library (GCPL) and Mayfield Road Drive-In are pleased to offer a line-up of family-oriented attractions and entertainment including:
• Bookmobile tour
• Sheriff Deputy and Rick O’Shay, the miniature horse
• The sheriff’s K-9 dog unit
• Emergency vehicle truck tours
• Banjo the Clown and his balloon art
• Raffles, prizes and giveaways
GCPL night at the Drive-In is a family-friendly annual event that emphasizes the importance of reading, school, safety and fun.
