Geauga Economic Leadership Presents Mr. Blake Andres, Executive Director, DDC Clinic on November 2

Mr. Blake Andres

Join Geauga Economic Leadership (GEL) on Friday, November 2nd for a light breakfast and to hear from Mr. Blake Andres, Executive Director of DDC Clinic, about how DDC Clinic’s local community commitment has global impact through a unique collaboration with the Geauga Amish community that is changing medicine for all of us.

It started with five Amish families gathered around a kitchen table in a family home to discuss ways to find help for their children with suspected but unnamed, undiagnosed, and often devastating rare genetic disorders.

A hat was passed for monies to mail letters to share a vision for a clinic that one day might help the world’s special children grow-up to live healthy, happy and productive lives. Twenty years since DDC Clinic – Center for Special Needs Children  research clinic is impacting lives across the globe.
