The Geauga Fresh Farmers’ Market, in its fourteenth year, will hold its 2015 annual organizational meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Patterson Center, Claridon Troy Road, at the north end of the Geauga County Fairgrounds in Burton. Farmers, producers and artisans who are interested in the market for the coming season are welcome to attend.
Volunteers who help at the market are also needed and welcome to attend. The volunteers are important to the overall success of the market, helping with parking and special events.
The Market is held from 9:00 am to Noon Saturdays at the South Russell Village Hall parking lot, at Bell and Chillicothe (Route 306) roads in the village beginning May 9, 2015 and running until early October.
Vendors at the market sell fresh seasonal produce, flowers, baked goods, eggs, cheese, meat, honey and maple syrup, herbs, oil and spices, soaps and lotions, crafts, and other locally produced products. For more information call 440- 991-7432 or email geaugamarket@yahoo.com.
