Geauga Growth Partnership Adds Communications & Development Manager

Geauga Growth Partnership is pleased to announce the addition of Paige Orvis to the team as Communications & Development Manager. She brings an extensive background in marketing and communications to help expand GGP’s outreach in the community and benefits to our membership.

Paige will help drive communications through media relations and writing, graphic design and expanding social media. Additionally, she will coordinate large scale, sponsor-supported events, such as the 3rd Annual HomeGrown Geauga and GGP’s Annual Meetings, and help grow funds for the organization through grant writing and sponsorship development.

Prior to joining Geauga Growth Partnership, Paige served 19 years in marketing and communications for Geauga Park District, and recently expanded offerings for graphic design, writing and development services as an independent consultant. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Kent State University and has served on Geauga County Tourism Council Board, is a graduate of Leadership Geauga, and is currently on the Board of Directors for University Hospital Geauga Medical Center.

The Partnership has many exciting programs and activities planned for 2015 and funding is vital for the sustainably of our mission to grow Geauga’s economy,” says GGP President Tracy Jemison. “Paige will be instrumental in allowing our organization to fulfill its mission in growing Geauga’s Economy. Geauga Growth Partnership is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization created in 2010, which works to retain and grow jobs, contribute to business growth and strengthen the local economy. The Partnership was formed by Geauga County business, professional and civic leaders to build upon the County’s remarkable assets and is sustained by business and community partners through dues-based membership. Geauga Growth Partnership’s mission is to enhance the business climate, encourage job creation, strengthen economic prosperity and to improve the quality of life for all Geauga County residents.
