Geauga Growth Partnership Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointments of two new board members: James F. Patterson (Jim), to fill an unexpired term left vacant by Charles Miller, and Jeff Coy to, fill an unexpired term left vacant by John McLoughlin (Kinetico). Both unexpired terms will run until June of 2016.

Mr. Patterson, a third generation farmer of Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland, brings a long-standing commitment to Geauga County to contribute to the fulfillment of the GGP mission.
Mr. Patterson currently serves on The Ohio State University President’s Club, on Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center Support Council, Ohio Produce Growers and Marketers Association (past president), director of The Great Geauga County Fair Foundation and on University Hospital Health Systems of Cleveland Emeritus Leadership Council to name a few.
Mr. Patterson has been a long-serving board director for University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center and was recognized by UH at the Annual meeting on May 19 for more than 30 years of service to the system. He is a former Geauga County Commissioner (1969-1982) and Geauga Park District Board Commissioner (2011-2013).
“I am happy to be part of Geauga Growth Partnership,” says Mr. Patterson. “GGP is doing is the right things to help our area businesses succeed, like getting people together, building collaborations and offering relevant trainings. It is a good thing for Geauga County.”

Jeff Coy is Vice President of Operations for Kinetico, Incorporated, and an international leader in water treatment products based in Newbury, Ohio. He is responsible for all aspects of operations for Kinetico, including supply chain and manufacturing.
A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in chemical engineering, and formerly employed with TTI Floor Care North America and Black & Decker, Jeff Coy has diverse experiences in leadership, problem solving, supply chain, logistics, sourcing and manufacturing.
“My initial impression of the GGP is that it is an extremely pro-active organization, working to support the needs of area businesses and help drive growth in and around the county. I am looking forward to contributing to that growth,” says Mr. Coy
