Get Your “Ticket to Ride” to the 6th Annual Passport to the World benefit! All proceeds from the event will benefit Geauga County Habitat for Humanity, serving Geauga County families for 25 years offering those in need a hand up, not a hand-out by providing affordable homeownership.
Playing on the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles, a “Fab Four” of Northeast Ohio’s top chefs will headline Geauga Habitat for Humanity’s sixth annual benefit, Passport to the World, “Ticket to Ride”, on Thursday, October 9, from 6:00 – 10:00 pm at Petitti Garden Center in Bainbridge sponsored in part by Pentair, FirstEnergy, and Kinetico Incorporated.
A host of local food talent awaits patrons at the event, including “fifth Beatle chef in training” Dominic Alandt of Bainbridge. Youngest among the culinary creatives, 10-year-old Dominic, a current Kenston Intermediate Elementary student and cooking sensation, will join other local chefs including Chef Chris Hodgson, Brad Cecchi of Urban Farmer in the Westin Hotel in Cleveland, Chef Jennifer Plank (Geauga County native) of Toast Cleveland in Lakewood, and Chef Tim Bando, proprietor of Grove Hill in Chagrin Falls, newly opened in July.
Outstanding cuisine will be complemented by a wide array of samplings of wines and beer from around the world, provided by Vintage Distributors Inc., Chagrin Beer Company and Chardon BrewWorks.
NEW THIS YEAR! Local favorite restaurant, the Burntwood Tavern, will host the VIP Lounge from 6:00 – 8:00 pm featuring signature cocktails and specialty appetizers in an area of the event created to mirror its restaurants (open to VIP ticket holders only).
The evening will include a live and silent auction AND dancing to the music of the Beatles tribute band, The Liverpool Lads. Tickets are on sale now online or visit Petitti Garden Center in Bainbridge. General Admission $75 and VIP $125.
