Geauga Harvest Dinner Celebrates Agriculture

Ohio Farm Bureau LogoGeauga County Farm Bureau is hosting the first annual Geauga Harvest Dinner on August 11, 2012 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the International Culinary Arts and Sciences Institute (ICASI) in Chesterland. Tickets are $95/person and only 100 tickets are available.

This unique seven course dinner features food and wine produced by farmers in Geauga County. Hear from the farmers, wine makers, and chefs as you enjoy a fabulous meal prepared by the renowned chefs at ICASI.

This event celebrates the diversity of agriculture production in Geauga County while showcasing locally produced products.

Geauga County Farm Bureau is proud to partner with Western Reserve Land Conservancy and ICASI to offer this exclusive culinary experience. Proceeds will benefit Western Reserve Land Conservancy and the ICASI Scholarship Fund.

Ty Kellogg has been the Organization Director of the Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and Trumbull County Farm Bureau for just shy of two years. His primary duties include management of the four-county Farm Bureau office, assisting volunteers with membership drives, programs that promote agriculture and engaging the public in agriculture and community policy development. Born, raised and living in Geauga County, Ty can also be seen playing music throughout northeast Ohio, running, hunting, fishing and helping his parents on their farm.
