Geauga Hunger Task Force

The Geauga Hunger Task Force (GHTF) is a volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to ensure that no resident of Geauga County goes hungry. We provide support to six independent food pantries throughout our county. We also help to provide meals for young adults at NextStep and home-delivered meals to disabled residents under 60.

The GHTF is supported through food and monetary donations from generous residents, churches, schools, businesses, and community organizations.

Due to the current pandemic crisis, the need to help our neighbors is even greater than before!  Many of our pantries are seeing substantial increases in those seeking help, with some pantries reporting that their food supplies are very low. Additionally, our pantries have let us know that they need volunteers to help with services such as curbside pickups at their sites and volunteers to deliver food to those who do not have transportation.

Won’t you consider joining our mission in making sure no resident of Geauga goes hungry? We need you!  If you think you are able to help us help your neighbors struggling during this difficult time, please consider donating money, food, or being a volunteer!
