Geauga SWCD Offering “Get SepticSmart” Presentation!

Preventative maintenance of your septic not only extends the life of the system, but also protects your investment, our water resources, and the public health.  The Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District, Geauga Public Health, and Geauga West Library are excited to announce a free online SepticSmart Program on Thursday, September 17th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Join us for an informative, virtual presentation with Dave Sage and Zach Myers, Registered Sanitarians with Geauga Public Health, as we discuss how a home septic system works, how to maintain your home sewage treatment system, and what to do when it appears to not be working properly.  This program is free, but reservations are required.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 16th and can be made at https://geaugalibrary.libcal.com/event/6934213 or by contacting Geauga SWCD at 440-834-1122 or gprunty@geaugaswcd.com.  This program is part of the 2020 Lake Erie Starts Here: Stormwater, Phase 2, and You education series.
