We always end up in the kitchen!
Have you ever wondered why the kitchen seems to be the focal point of your home? There are so many other cozy spots in the house to gather but the party always seems to be in the kitchen! Don’t believe it, the next time you entertain family and friends notice what happens. Even if you place the food in a formal dining room, people will fill their plates and naturally gravitate back to the crowded kitchen.
So, what do you do to eliminate this issue? When doing a kitchen remodel, create an openness to the family room and dining area so that people in those two rooms feel like they are involved in the activities of the kitchen and the cook, as well, does not feel isolated and can take part in conversations.
Great ideas such as this one along with inspiration, innovative products and practical advice in remodeling, home improvement, gardening and lifestyle can be found at the March 4th & 5th Home & Lifestyle Expo held at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor. Representatives from local companies, contractors, remodelers and designers will all be in one location to answer questions, provide suggestions and explore ideas for all aspects of home improvement needs both inside and out. Expo hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4th and 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5th.
The first 250 attendees each day will receive a free gift bag distributed at the top of the food court. All attendees over the age of 21 will have the chance to enter a raffle drawing to win a $500.00 mall gift card.
To participate simply pick up an entry card at any one of the exhibitors’ booths. Instructions are on the card.
The Home & Lifestyle Expo is a free event produced by the Lake County Chambers of Commerce. The annual Expo provides the Lake County Chambers of Commerce an opportunity to showcase its members.
