Good Grandma & Grandpa!

Here’s a nature-themed summer picnic for you and the grandkids

Watermelon, hot dogs, side dishes, desserts and lemonade.

That alone is enough to get you out to the park. But add the fact that you and your grandkids are looking for something to do and enjoy being outdoors, doing fun things and nature exploring, and you can do all these things for FREE – then for sure you will be there with one, two, or all of your grandchildren! (Just don’t forget to register.)

What: Grandparents Summer Picnic
When: Thursday, July 11 – 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Where: Orchard Hills Park, Lodge, 11340 Caves Road, Chester Township

Activities at this popular annual picnic include a fun craft for the kids and grandparents, a nature scavenger hunt (with help from Naturalist Nora the Explorer), and of course a yummy picnic – all wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Registration is required online or 440-286-9516. Also please bring a dessert or side dish to share; hot dogs and watermelon will be provided by West Geauga Senior Center.

Geauga Park District is onlineFacebookTwitter and YouTube.
