Good Tidings Benefit Choir Recruiting Voices for Fundraiser for the Geauga Hunger Task Force!

How would you like to truly help your neighbors by singing? It is time again for the voices of the Good Tiding Benefit Choir to come together to raise spirits and funds for the Geauga Hunger Task Force. All practices will be held at Notre Dame Chapel, 13000 Auburn Road in Munson, Ohio. Sundays 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. This year is the choir’s 28th anniversary and we celebrate our continuing success in caring for our neighbors.

Practices start February 12th for the 2nd and 3rd sections of Handel’s Messiah. The choir is open to high school students and older. You may bring your own score with you or there will be copies available for approx. $8.00. Solo auditions will take place during the practices. The spring programs are April 1st at 7:00 p.m., April 2nd, 3:00 p.m. The choir may take the program also on the road for April 9th, at another location.

The Geauga Hunger Task Force is a volunteer driven organization that has been in existence since 1977. There are seven food pantries throughout Geauga County that serve the hungry year-round. These pantries served over 450,000 meals in 2016. Although 2017 is just beginning, it will be a difficult year for many of our neighbors. Join us for a heartwarming experience.
