Spring is a time of discovery – discovering flowers, birds and all that Nature has to offer. Even better is discovering all of this with children, and Geauga Park District is offering an opportunity to do just that!
Grandparents in the Park: Spring Break is a program that will be held Monday, April 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Big Creek Park, Donald W. Meyer Center, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon Twp.
Since 2004, Geauga Park District has offered special programming during all major school breaks, providing great incentives to get out into the parks. This program will deliver refreshments, crafts and nature games indoors, as well as fun with Nora the Explorer in the Great Outdoors.
Registration is required at http://geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516. You can also call that number with any questions you may have. Participants are asked to bring a snack to share with the group. Activities will be held rain or shine. The Meyer Center is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible.
