Spring is a time of discovery – discovering flowers, birds and all that Nature has to offer.
Even better is discovering all of this with children, and Geauga Park District is offering an opportunity for grandparents to do just that. Grandparents in the Park: Spring Break will take place Friday, March 25, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Big Creek Park, Donald W. Meyer Center, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon Twp.
Since 2004, Geauga Park District has offered special programming during all major school breaks, providing great incentive to get out into the parks.
This program will deliver refreshments, crafts and Nature games both indoors and outdoors with Nora the Explorer.
Participants are asked to bring a snack to share and to dress for the weather, and registration is required here or by calling 440-286-9516. The Meyer Center is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible.
