Help Me Grow is Giving Back to Geauga County Families

The Geauga County Help Me Grow Program is holding its annual children’s clothing and toy giveaway on Friday, June 21, at The Metzenbaum Center, 8200 Cedar Road. All Geauga families are invited to attend this free event between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

We will be accepting donations of gently used children’s clothing and toys from June 17 through June 19.

We are not able to accept stuffed animals, cribs or car seats.

“What is nice about our giveaway is that it gives Geauga County families a chance to give back to other families in our community.

The families that we serve are in need of children’s clothing, toys, equipment, and more. During these hard times, even the smallest donations can make a big difference,” said Deborah Pruce, Service Coordinator.

If you are interested in making a donation or want more information about the giveaway, please contact Geauga County Help Me Grow at 440-729-5250.

Geauga County Help Me Grow is a voluntary program for pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers between the ages of birth and three years old.

In February of 2009, Help Me Grow transitioned to The Metzenbaum Center. One of the biggest advantages it has brought is the ability for Help Me Grow to work more closely with Early Intervention at The Metzenbaum Center.

The goal of the program is to assure that newborns, infants, and toddlers have the best possible start in life. Help Me Grow provides services that promote children’s growth and development and support families during the children’s early years.
