Have you ever had problems on our site or Facebook Wall? Sometimes, even though we work very hard to eliminate these “bugs”, things just don’t work properly.
Today I’ll be sharing with you a little more history and information about our technical partner, tEkk3 who sponsors all the technology that makes Geauga News a reality. I’ll also be sharing with you how you can get help with any technical issues you may have here at Geauga News.
The History
tEkk3 is the technology division of our parent company Trufix.net, LLC that was formed back in 2007. Trufix.net’s mission is to show small business owners and entrepreneurs how to use technology to help them grow and succeed in their industry.
Over the past 5 years they’ve invested heavily in training, strategic partnerships, and open source software that allows them to compete on a local and global level with other large companies in the technology field.
How Does this Affect Me?
Since the Geauga News inception date of September 11th, 2011 the whole team at tEkk3 has been designing, coding, and programming all the pieces that make Geauga News happen every single day.
From the email software configuration, to the integrations between our main website and our Twitter and Facebook feeds, each component has been carefully designed, tested, and implemented. So for all the times that everything works perfectly, and you get to enjoy your articles, and community interaction without issues, that is a result of the thought and planning that team tEkk3 has invested for us.
Help
For the few times that things aren’t working, we’ve finally completed testing of a support desk software and added this handy little orange “help” tab to the left that you see now when you are on your computer.
So when you need something – just click the help button, and fill out a support request. tEkk3 plans to answer all support requests within 72 hours, and can assist you with any technical issues that occur with any of our Geauga News network.
