HIKE YOUR HOUND
Walk your dog with a naturalist in a popular dog-walking park
Parade through the park with your favorite pooch by your side during a Hound Hike on Saturday, December 5, at Frohring Meadows!
Registration is required for this hike, kicking off at 1 p.m. from Katydid Lodge and lasting about an hour and a half, at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516.
All activity is outdoors; please dress for the weather, and bring dog towels and a water bowl, poop scoop and bags for dog clean-up. Only one dog will be permitted per handler, who must be able to fully control their dog on a leash (8 ft. maximum) at all times. Additionally, dogs must be non-aggressive to people and other dogs; problematic dogs will be asked to leave.
Frohring Meadows is one of Geauga Park District’s most popular dog-walking parks. Learn about this beautiful property with Naturalist Karie Wheaton as your dog enjoys some fresh air. We hope to see you there!
