Holiday Cheer, Naturally at these Annual Favorite Geauga Park District Holiday Greens Workshops on December 1

Decorate your home for the holidays, or create a thoughtful gift for a friend, with this favorite holiday tradition: creating a beautiful arrangement of fresh evergreens within the cozy setting of Swine Creek Reservation’s lodge.

Registration is limited for both Holiday Greens Workshop offerings to be held Saturday, December 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This year’s three project options can be viewed on the News & Updates page of  Geauga Park District: a table arrangement with candle, an outdoor wreath and a tabletop tree.

Registration is required on the website or 440-286-9516, with a materials/instruction fee of $18 collected upon registration and $9 collected at the door.

Have kids ages 3 to 5 who would enjoy a youth version of this project, too? Register them for one of the three Timbertots:

  • Evergreen Artists offerings to be held Sunday, December 2nd, and Monday, December 3rd. Indoors and outdoors, Naturalist Karie will guide your tyke in discovering evergreen trees, then you’ll help your kiddo make his or her very own greens centerpiece to take home – free of charge, with all materials included!

Featuring a fireplace that’s always lit for these very special workshops, the lodge at Swine Creek Reservation can be found by entering at 16004 Hayes Road in Middlefield Township and following the drive to the left. Please call 440-286-9516 with questions.
