Summer break has been a busy one throughout the district, with several improvement projects taking place. The middle school parking lot has been repaved, there are new stadium lights up at the high school football field, and the entrances at Jordak Elementary School and Cardinal High School will look a little different as well come the first day of school – which by the way is August 14th for students in grades 1-12. Along with that, here are some additional important dates to mark down as summer break starts to wind down:
- August 1st: Jordak Elementary School Class lists posted
- August 1st: Cardinal Middle School/Cardinal High School Schedules posted in IC
- August 6th: Cardinal High School Fall Sports Pictures
- August 8th: Cardinal Middle School Fall Sports Pictures
- August 9th: Cardinal Middle School Locker Set up, 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- August 9th: Cardinal High School 9th grade and new student orientation, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- August 10th: Kindergarten Orientation – Boys, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.; Girls, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- August 13th: Jordak Elementary School Open House, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- August 13th: Cardinal High School Open House, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- August 14th: First Day of School (grades 1-12 only)
- August 15th: Early Release Day
