Geauga County – May 25, 2016 – Do you get excited about great books and stories? Have you ever wanted to share what you’re reading with the world? If so, then, you need to check out GCPL’s new Twitter campaign: #ImReading.
GCPL is photographing people holding their favorite book titles written on handheld chalkboards. To see what people are reading and what’s inspiring them, visit our Twitter page @GeaugaLibrary, where you can discover what your favorite librarian is reading for fun. How about your son’s baseball coach? Or Sheriff Dan McClelland? Or your physics teacher? Or your babysitter? Or the Judge? They’re all sharing their favorite book titles on our Twitter page.
It’s easy for you to be a part of it! Share what you are currently reading, what you read last month, or what you look forward to reading this year. Maybe, you have a favorite book of all time you need to share. Use the hashtag #ImReading, and tag us @GeaugaLibrary. We’ll retweet.
Patrons and GCPL staff members at all our locations have shared book titles and genres. We are posting photos every day through the summer of 2016 – or for as long as our readership keeps sharing and posing for them. We’re hoping for enough enthusiasm to keep this campaign running all year.
Get out of your reading rut and find your new favorite book with a little help from all your reading cohorts throughout Geauga County. If you would like to share your favorite book title, contact Lori Weber at lori.weber@geaugalibrary.info. You can either send in a picture of yourself with a chalkboard or we will schedule a quick photo shoot. We can meet you at a local park or any GCPL location.
