It’s Time for Some Sweet Corn at the Kiwanis Club of Chardon’s 10th Annual Corn Roast on September 16

The Kiwanis Club of Chardon is pleased to announce the 10th Corn Roast, which is held each year to celebrate the bounty of the growing season. Starting this year, the Corn Roast will be held in conjugation with the Hand Harvest Handmade Market being sponsored by the Chardon Square Association.

The 10th Annual Corn Roast will take place September 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Historic Chardon Square. The Chardon Kiwanis will be providing fresh sweet corn from hometown favorite Sage’s Apple Orchard and other items such as a delicious sausage sandwich, which was first introduced last year.

“The money raised through the Corn Roast helps support the Kiwanis club programs throughout the Chardon area,” said club member and event chairman, Jim Rayl. “What is better than a wonderful afternoon with your family and friends, some local sweet corn, and being able to go home knowing you helped your community.”

The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to invite you to this annual end of summer event. For more information about the Chardon Kiwanis, please visit Kiwanis Club of Chardon or call 440-537-4718. For more information about the Chardon Square Association, please visit Chardon Square Association.
