Joe Carrier joins DeJohn Funeral Homes

Willoughby Hills, OH (March 19, 2020) ­– DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory is pleased to announce that Joseph Carrier has joined their staff as a Funeral Director/Embalmer Apprentice.

In his apprentice role, Joe brings families a fresh perspective as they plan a unique and special service for their loved ones. He is able to connect to families through his faith which led him to his career. “As a practicing Catholic, I see funerals as a very important step in a person’s life and once I become a part of the process, I have loved every minute,” commented Joe Carrier.

DeJohn staff listens to the needs of each family to create a special service and meet the families specific needs and wishes.

Growing up in Youngstown, Joe’s strong connection with faith led him to working part-time in a funeral home during high school. Now a graduate of John Carroll University, he helps serve families by showing them the different options they have to honor their loved ones and give their funerals meaning. He is thrilled to be living back in Cleveland and working with the DeJohn family which he feels are progressive leaders in the funeral industry.
