Cliff Babcock, son of Ed Babcock, President of, Junction Buick GMC, partnered with Geauga West Rotary Club to provide Next Step with a new much needed Buick Envision. The donation was made possible through the generous Hearts for Service sponsorship of NORTHERN OHIO BUICK GMC and Junction Buick GMC.
Next Step is a vital Geauga community-based case management and stabilization program for young adults transitioning from foster care. The Buick Envision from Junction Auto will provide much needed transportation for services needed by Next Step clients.
In recognition of Cliff Babcock’s leadership and commitment to community service, the Geauga West Rotary Club awarded Cliff on March 9 , 2023 with the distinguished Paul Harris Award. The Award recognizes Rotary Members and Community Leaders for exceptional voluntary service meeting the needs of their communities. Paul Harris is the Founder of Rotary International with over 46,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide.
NORTHERN OHIO BUICK GMC/Junction Buick GMC is the primary sponsor of Geauga West Rotary’s 32nd annual “Hearts for Service” fundraiser held February 18 ,2023 at the EOUV Austrian Club. The fund-raising event supported acquisition of the Buick for Next Step and supports West Geauga education and youth development programs, and Geauga County hunger and family services.
Geauga West Rotary has served the Geauga County community for 33 years and currently meets weekly at the Geauga County Board of Development Disabilities offices in Chesterland. More information can be found at geaugawestrotary.org.
