Kiwanis Club of Chardon Awards Scholarships

Kiwanis Club of Chardon

The Kiwanis Club of Chardon is pleased to announce the awarding of our 2012 scholarships. The scholarships awarded each year are made possible through the sale of maple syrup products, annual trivia night, and various other activities.

This year’s scholarships were awarded to students at Chardon High School and Auburn Career Center including John P. Coats, Danielle Daugherty, Megan Marshall, and Leah Simkoff. Each recipient of this year’s scholarships is involved in their community and participates in extracurricular activities.

Being able to award scholarships is one of the most rewarding experiences of being a member of the Kiwanis Club of Chardon,” said chairperson of the Scholarship Committee Frank Elliott. “The Kiwanis Club of Chardon wishes each student success in their future educational endeavors.”
