Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial Volunteers Serve Local Family in Wall Raising Ceremony

 

lake-geauga-hforhLake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity and local Thrivent Financial volunteers will work side-by-side with a Habitat partner family to help Raise-the-Walls for their new home. This new home construction project continues the organization’s efforts to create safe, decent, and affordable housing in partnership with low-income families in the Lake and Geauga County area.

Thrivent Financial donated funds to help finance the project. Local Thrivent volunteers will join the effort to help Raise-the-Walls on Saturday, September 24, 2016 and will be on site helping during the construction process.

“We are so thankful to Thrivent Financial for their commitment to Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity,” says William Meyer, Executive Director with Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity, “their support makes an incredible difference in the lives of the families we serve.”
