Let’s Make a Monogram from Recycled Materials at Geauga Park District’s Art Stamp Monogram Workshop on March 22

In line with the discARTed Recycled Art Exhibition ongoing at The West Woods Nature Center, let’s make monograms using recycled materials!

Registration is required for Geauga Park District’s Art Stamp Monogram Workshop on Friday, March 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the site of discARTed, The West Woods Nature Center. Instruction from local artist Barbara Mikin, materials and refreshments are covered by the evening’s $24 fee ($28 for out-of-county residents).

Participants will have the option of framing a print of their design/monogram in a provided 5 x 7” frame. Prints may also be utilized for stationery, book covers, textiles and more.

Geauga Park District’s discARTed Recycled Art Exhibition is open daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through April 15th. The West Woods Nature Center is fully wheelchair/stroller accessible at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township.

Also, just down the street at Artisan Corner Gallery for the duration of the exhibition, view a companion collection of handmade artwork made from recycled medium by discARTed artisans, with a selection of unique artwork under $60. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Extended hours on April 5th will keep doors open until 8:00 p.m.
