Annual Fall Fun Weekends
Oct 12, 2013 - Oct 13, 2013
Ridgeview Farm in Mesopotamia will be hosting the Annual Fall Fun Weekends starting September 28 until October 27, 2013, every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. The Farm is located in Mesopotamia Township, 3½ miles east of Middlefield on State Route 87 (5488 Kinsman Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062). There is no admission charge to the farm. We want the public to come out and capture the fall before it leaves, said Steve Grover, farmer.
The farm offers hayrides, an eight acre corn maze, sand box, petting barn, and pick your own pumpkin, and corn cannons. Customers can shoot ears of corn at targets located in the fields. Back by popular demand are the pig races. The pig races are held at the farm every Saturday and Sunday. Race times are 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. People have seen horses run for the roses, dogs run for the rabbit, and now the pigs will run for the Amish cookies. The pigs are smart; they know there is a cookie at the end of the track, said Grover.
The Grovers ask groups of 25 or more to please call ahead for reservations.
