Chagrin Falls Contra Dance with Zydeco Lesson. Tuesday, March 21st at the Chagrin Falls Town Hall (83 N. Main St.; Chagrin Falls, OH 44022). A lively and lovely dance to folk music. Live music performed by well known artists. Lesson at 7:30 p.m. Dance from 8:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Adults $10.00, youth $8.00, family $25.00.

This is a lovely and lively dance that you will not want to miss! Additionally, for the February 21st and March 21st dances, Will Craig and Salley Smith will be teaching a Zydeco dance lesson during intermission. According to Craig, Zydeco is the best eight count partner couple’s dance he knows and can be used to dance to at least eight genres of music. So join us at the next Chagrin Falls Contra Dance to get a two for one deal. Contra and Zydeco!

No need for prior dance experience. Each Contra Dance is taught through simple instruction by dance caller Kenny Wilson. Introductory dance lesson starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Contra Dance is from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Live folk music played by Stomp Culture includes band members Paul Kovac (fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and vocals), Carrie Taylor (keyboard, accordion and vocals), and Will Craig (percussion). Admission is $8.00 for those 17 years and under, $10.00 per adult and $25.00 per family.
