Snorkeling adventure returns to Walter C. Best Wildlife Preserve
The crystal clear waters of Best Lake are perfect for amazing views of colorful sunfish, painted turtles, seldom-seen plants of all shapes and sizes, freshwater mussels and other aquatic life.

Snorkeling at this beautiful preserve maxed out its registration last year, the first year it was offered, said Naturalist Dottie Drockton. “Most of our other lakes do not have the clarity of Best Lake,” she added.
Registration and a $25 fee for snorkel instruction by Just Add Water is required for this rain-or-shine opportunity for ages 8 and older online or 440-286-9516. Bring your own equipment and wetsuits, or they will be provided.
