Get Great Ideas and Connections at the March Home & Lifestyle Expo – Saturday, March 7 at Great Lakes Mall

MENTOR, OHIO (February 25, 2020)

Sooner than you know, Spring will be here and home updates will be on the top of the to do list. To help with ideas and vendor choices, Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce and Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Home & Lifestyle Expo on Saturday, March 7 from 10am-6pm at Great Lakes Mall in Mentor.

Attendees will get ideas, inspiration and practical advice in remodeling, home improvement, gardening and lifestyle needs. Representatives from local companies, remodelers and designers will be onsite to answer questions, provide suggestions and explore ideas for all aspects of home improvement and lifestyle needs.

Free Expo gift bags will be distributed downby Macy’s. Two of the 300 free bags will hold a $50 gift card! Stage entertainment includes a special 2pm rain barrel painting demonstration by artist and Fine Arts Association Development Director, Yvonne Delgado Thomas. At 5:00pm the stage will welcome Craig Shepp of Shepp Electric and Jenn Harcher from the Fox 8 weather team to announce the winner of “The Gift of Power” which is a yearly contest run by Shepp Electric. Those entered into the contest have
been nominated by others with an entry explaining why they should be chosen to win.

Additional stage entertainment consists of a line up of three fashion shows: 12:30pm Hair Demo & Prom Fashion Show by Auburn Career Center, 3:00pm Leadership Lake County models will take the stage and at 4:00pm the stage will host a fun and unique Puppy Fashion Show presented by Guiding Eyes for the Blind and The Posh Pet Boutique. Media One Group Personalities will emcee the Expo.

Returning to the Expo is an Upcycle Repurpose Contest open for entries from the public. There is no fee to enter and items can be, but are not limited to furniture, accessories/home décor, clothing and jewelry.
