Get Septic Smart!
September 21 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Preventative maintenance of your septic not only extends the life of the system, but also protects your investment, our water resources, and the public health.
Join the Geauga Soil and Water Conservation District, Geauga Public Health, and Geauga West Library during national “SepticSmart” week for a free, in-person SepticSmart program on Tuesday, September 21st from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Geauga West Library. Presenters Dave Sage and Zach Myers, registered sanitarians with Geauga Public Health, will discuss how a home septic system works, how to maintain your home sewage treatment system, and what to do when it appears to not be working properly.
This program is free, but reservations are required due to limited seating.
To register visit geaugalibrary.libcal.com/event/7836193 or contact Geauga SWCD at 440-834-1122 with questions. This program is part of the 2021 Clean Water Starts at Home: Stormwater, Phase 2, and You education series.
