Homeschool Learning Fair

Register for fun activities and information-gathering at The West Woods

Homeschools and your families, join us at The West Woods on Friday, August 27, to participate in fun activities and gather information from Geauga County organizations that offer educational opportunities for homeschool students. Please just remember to register for Homeschool Days: Family Learning Fair! in advance online at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or by phone at 440-226-4695 or 440-226-4636.

All attending must be signed up in advance, including adults and siblings, to drop in anytime during one of two sessions: either 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Please allow your family an hour or more to spend at the park participating. Program activities will be mostly outdoors, so dress accordingly.

Among the local organizations and businesses that will offer hands-on activities and information are:

• University Hospitals – CPR demos, make-and-take first aid kits
• Women United United Way – book giveaway
• Fairmount Center for the Arts – art project
• Geauga Park District – explore a meadow with a naturalist (nets provided)
• Geauga County Public Library
