Laurel’s EcoFest is a FREE, public environmentally-conscious event that features interactive, environmental activism, activities and green exhibitors to inspire a generation of environmental stewards.
Education from speakers including Richard Louv, Audubon Medal-winning author of Last Child in the Woods, who will join us virtually for his talk Planet Hope: Staying hopeful while taking action for the planet. Listen to the voices of high school student activists and learn more about Laurel School’s Environmental Justice Semester and how you can be a steward of the environment!
Entertainment includes activities by Recess Cleveland, UpCycle Parts Shop, guided hikes, music, nature play area, kids’ crafts & games, a student art exhibition, food trucks, and more! Vendors include Metro 45 • Squash the Beef • Smooth Rider • Perfectly Imperfectly Produce •
Exhibits from local organizations working for a more sustainable and ethical world: ACLU • Action for the Climate Emergency • Alliance for the Great Lakes • Black Environmental Leaders • Cleveland Museum of Natural History • Concerned Citizens Organized Against Lead • Drink Local Drink Tap • Holden Arboretum • MedWish • Nature Center at Shaker Lakes • Ohio Environmental Council • Organic Connects • RedHouse • Swetland Center for Environmental Health • United Way of Greater Cleveland • Western Reserve Land Conservancy • Check back often, more organizations are to be announced.

Free parking is available at both the Butler Campus and Laurel School’s Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights.
Free shuttle buses will run between Lyman and Butler from 12:30-5:00 p.m.
EcoFest is FREE and open to the public!
