MAKE A SYRUP JUG ACCENT LAMP – Admission is limited for this genuinely Geauga opportunity

Join crafty Naturalist Trevor Wearstler this sugaring season to create a fun accent lamp from a Geauga Park District maple syrup jug!

Registration is already open, but limited to only six more participants, at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org or 440-286-9516. This workshop takes place Thursday, March 10, 6 to 8 p.m., at The West Woods Nature Center. A $35 fee paid upon registration will cover all necessary supplies, including a lamp kit and LED bulb.

With just a few tools, then, participants will upcycle half-gallon syrup jugs to make their own delightful, conversation-starting accent lamps. Check out Geauga Park District’s Facebook page for examples of the decorative eight-inch lamp shades that we’ll use to top off our creations.
