Make-it and Take-it Craft Day at New Mercies Community Church

Are you looking for an extremely affordable and FUN way to give Christmas gifts to family and friends this year? New Mercies Community Church in Burton is providing a great way to do just that! Make-it and Take-it Craft Day will be held on Saturday, December 8, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tables will be set up with dozens of very affordable options for you to choose from along with all the necessary materials to make such gifts as ornaments, key chains, necklaces, picture frames, decorations, and many more. You can even make beautiful angels! FREE craft activities for children will be on hand so moms can work on making their gifts while the children are having their own fun! They will also have available an assortment of food at a very low cost, including pizza by the slice, hot dogs, walking tacos, bakery items, and snacks. Proceeds from this event will go toward the repair of the church roof.

This is a wonderful opportunity to not only give a handmade gift, but to also help provide funds for the needs of New Mercies Church as well – all at a very low cost to families. Everyone wins and has fun doing so!

New Mercies also has a small food pantry they are hoping to replenish for the holidays. If you have some extra canned goods you would like to donate, please bring them along!
